Matt Gunderson Named NRCC Young Gun
California’s 49th Congressional District is a top target in the battle for control of the House of Representatives
The Gunderson for Congress Campaign today announced that Matt Gunderson has been named in the first round of the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Young Guns.

“I am proud to be named to the NRCC’s Young Guns Program because the last thing Southern California families need is more of Mike Levin and his open-border policies,” said Gunderson. “I am a political outsider and a businessman who supports getting the cost-of-living under control, lowering taxes and securing our border unlike my opponent who is a career politician and votes 100% of the time with the Biden-Harris agenda.”
The Young Gun program mentors and supports candidates in races across the country and works to provide them with the necessary tools to run successful, winning campaigns against their opponents.
The program requires candidates to work towards specific goals and meet benchmarks throughout the election cycle to ensure their campaigns are competitive, well-funded and communicative within their districts.
