Oceanside, CA – Former Carlsbad Mayor Matt Hall, a long-time San Diego County civic leader and decorated Vietnam veteran, has endorsed Matt Gunderson in his run for California’s 49th District.

Former Mayor Matt Hall, who served as Mayor of Carlsbad from 2010 to 2022, has been recognized for his fiscal conservatism and dedication to public service. A Vietnam Veteran awarded the Purple Heart, Mayor Hall is not only an accomplished leader but also a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather with deep roots in the community.

“Matt Gunderson is the kind of business leader San Diego County needs to send to Congress,” said Matt Hall. “He will lower taxes, reduce inflation, and make our communities safe again. I endorse Matt Gunderson for Congress.”
