On April 20, 2024, at least two dozen illegal aliens appear to have entered our country via a small boat that docked in Newport Beach’s Balboa Peninsula. The migrants quickly dispersed into a local neighborhood and that is where this part of the story ends, because local police are forbidden by California law to apprehend them.
My opponent, Rep. Mike Levin (D-CA), has long been an apologist for these absurd immigration policies and has only recently (in an election year) tried to distance himself from his government-caused disaster. Last month, he proudly proposed adding 12 miles worth of patrol off our coast as though his band-aide on a gunshot wound proposal would do anything to turn off the magnet policies drawing millions of illegal migrants into our country.
This is the arsonist calling the fire department. When not in an election year, Mike Levin says securing our border is “ridiculous” or “unnecessary” and that is everything that is wrong with Washington DC today. Instead of tackling these problems head on, Levin plays the dutiful Democrat and tries to convince Southern California residents that there’s nothing to see here.
At Levin’s own swearing-in ceremony, Vista Councilwoman Corinne Contreras proudly stated: “I know I speak for Mike Levin and myself when I say that ICE needs to end, our Neighbors and Friends shouldn’t live with ICE over their heads”.
Fentanyl poisoning is now the leading cause of death for Americans 18-45. That’s not just a huge number, that’s an even bigger age range of people. We’re losing a jumbo jet liner of people a day. If we had one plane crash each day, we’d stop flying.
It has been said that every city is now a border city due to the failed policies of my opponent Rep. Mike Levin (D-CA) and the Biden Administration.
